Caitlin R. Foley

As a licensed professional counselor, my goal is to provide you with a safe and nurturing space to allow you to express yourself comfortably, identify your goals, and realize your strengths as an individual. By working together, we can navigate life’s struggles and celebrate your achievements through empowerment and self-discovery.

I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults and a strong background in education. I draw on my experiences working in both the school and clinical settings to provide clients and their families with support through navigating behavioral and emotional difficulties in home, school, and community environments. I have helped clients experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, and post traumatic stress disorder. I also have experience supporting clients living with Autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and oppositional defiant disorder. I believe in meeting the client and their family where they are in their journey and to utilize a client-centered and strengths-based approach to therapy in addition to cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational-interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and play therapy. In utilizing these therapeutic approaches, it is my goal to teach clients positive thinking, social skills, problem-solving skills, and coping skills to help them succeed as empowered individuals.
