As a licensed professional counselor, my goal is to provide you with a safe and nurturing space where you can express yourself comfortably, identify your goals, and recognize your strengths as an individual. By working together, we can navigate life’s struggles and celebrate your achievements through empowerment and self-discovery.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and I bring a strong background in education to my clinical practice. Drawing from my work in both school and therapeutic settings, I support clients in navigating behavioral and emotional challenges across different areas of life. I have worked with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I also have experience supporting clients living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.
I believe in meeting clients where they are in their journey and take a client-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and play therapy to support growth and healing. Through these approaches, I aim to help clients develop positive thinking, social skills, problem-solving abilities, and effective coping strategies to thrive as empowered individuals.
