I believe therapy offers a unique opportunity for all individuals to be honest and vulnerable in a safe, welcoming space. My aim is to create an environment that promotes self-expression through creative approaches. We can work together to improve quality of life by addressing past and current stressors.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Registered Art Therapist in Pennsylvania. Additionally, I am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Clinical Psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. My experiences include working with community mental health centers, medical and psychiatric hospitals, and private practice, with children, adolescents, young adults, couples, and families.
My theoretical orientation is attachment-based with a deep consideration for multicultural and systemic issues. In my work, I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities to address a number of concerns including mood regulation, skill building, relationships, eating and food difficulties, and trauma. I also incorporate art therapy into my clinical practice for therapeutic relief, skill development, and assessment.
