Postpartum Parent Support Group Summer 2025
What is it?
This group will be run by a licensed therapist who is trained in Perinatal Mental Health. Topics will include coping with Postpartum Anxiety and Depression, Communication between partners and Navigating self care as a new parent.
When is it?
Mondays from 7:00 to 8:00pm
July 14th, July 21st, July 28th, August 4th
Who can participate?
New parents who have had a baby within the last 12 months. We welcome birthing parents as well as non-birthing parents to participate. This will be a safe space for parents to process their thoughts and feelings about transitioning into parenthood. We ask that all participants come prepared to be considerate and respectful of one another’s experiences and privacy. This group will run on a weekly basis for four consecutive weeks. Participants are encouraged to attend all 4sessions, but we know that new parenthood can be overwhelming and chaotic, therefore this will be treated as an open group where participants can attend as many or as few sessions as they would like.
How do I register?
This group is being offered at no cost. Please complete the registration form by Monday, June 30th. All registered participants will receive a Zoom link.
