Leah Mariani
When you’re the one others turn to—at work, at home, or in crisis—it can be hard to recognize when you need support too. Helpers often carry the weight of others’ struggles while quietly managing or pushing aside their own. When being strong for others becomes the norm, asking for help can feel unfamiliar or even overwhelming.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background working in crisis and substance use treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I specialize in supporting those who are used to supporting everyone else. Whether you’re in a caregiving profession, a leadership role, or simply the person everyone leans on, I understand how easily burnout, stress, anxiety, trauma, or substance use can take root and take over.
My approach is compassionate, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I aim to create an environment where you can comfortably put yourself first, let your guard down, and rest by putting down the things that you’ve been carrying for others and yourself. You will have space to reconnect with yourself and build the tools needed not just to cope—but to thrive.
Alongside my clinical work, I also serve my community as a part-time EMT, which continually reminds me of the strength it takes to show up for others—and the importance of having someone show up for you too.
