Jade Autumn, LCSW

Hey there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of post-master’s professional experience. My professional experiences range from social service-based roles with refugees and immigrants to clinical work with adolescents at-risk, adopted children and families, grief and loss across the lifespan, and managing ADHD and/or autism spectrum disorder in daily life. In addition to working directly with clients, I have also had the opportunity to be an educator as an adjunct professor at Holy Family University, teaching courses on interpersonal abuse and trauma, as well as grief and loss.

Unlike working with other healthcare professionals, therapy is a uniquely personal relationship so finding a therapist who feels like a ‘good fit’ for you is especially important. A compatible therapist is someone you feel safe enough with to be vulnerable, honest, and unfiltered. Clients who consider me a ‘good fit’ as their therapist appreciate a good sense of humor, are young at heart, might struggle with feeling “different” from others, and/or identify as “neurospicy.”

In addition to commonly used therapy interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), my therapeutic style is well reflected in my integration of Attachment-Based Therapy, Grief & Loss Competence, and Culturally-Informed Therapy in all of my work. For those of you searching for support with early developmental trauma and/or attachment concerns (either for yourself or children you are parenting), I am also experienced in the Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) model, uniquely oriented for those impacted by adoption and/or foster care.

I am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive therapy space for LGBTQ+ individuals and those exploring gender identity or expression. I offer gender-affirming care grounded in respect and collaboration. I also welcome clients who identify as spiritual or faith-oriented and am open to thoughtfully integrating these beliefs into our work when they are meaningful to you. Whatever reason(s) bring you or your loved one to therapy at this moment, my goal is to help you/them build lasting skills and confidence so therapy isn’t forever.
