Beth Rue, MSS, LCSW
Pain shows up in our lives in many ways: as anxiety, relationship issues, grief, loss, trauma, addictions, etc. While we don’t always have a choice in experiencing pain, we can choose how to address it. As the saying goes, “pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.” Life can be so much more than the stressors and feelings that dictate our life.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Yoga Instructor, trauma specialized therapist in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I see my role as a guide in helping you get back to yourself, the part of you that feels at peace, connected, authentic, and at home. Some of us forget what that feels like and some of us don’t remember feeling that at all. In therapy, we will create a space where you can learn how to tap into yourself and live from a more empowered position.
I have over 13 years of experience working with diverse populations of adolescent, young adult & adult, and LGBTQ+ populations and working with various presentations of addiction, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, traumatic experiences, complex trauma presentations, as well as other presenting concerns. I am eager to help you feel hopeful around healing. If you think I would be a good support for what you’re looking for, please connect. I’d love to work together.
