Andy Forrest
Therapy is a process through which you can develop understanding, insight, and a sense of mastery over your own life. As your therapist, we will work collaboratively to explore any of your issues and concerns, to identify your goals and strengths, and to develop solutions that work for you. Throughout the process, I will create a safe, comfortable, affirming, non-judgmental space for exploration, growth, and free expression.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a foundation in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I have expertise working with adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression and other mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders. Drawing from my training and professional experience, I pursue an eclectic approach that most importantly takes into consideration your preferences and needs.
