As a therapist, I work to empower my clients to find their voice and the strength to take control of their lives. Although I am rooted in choice theory, which emphasizes a need for love, belonging, freedom, fun, power, and survival as a means of fulfillment, I have an eclectic approach that integrates all aspects of the person (physical, mental, spiritual) as I recognize each person needs a personalized plan of care.
My approach is warm, friendly and nurturing. I have experience working with young children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. My specialty areas include adult, child and adolescent counseling, mindfulness, mood disorders, child-parent relationships, anxiety, bereavement, depression, anger management, and LGBTQ.
My experience has taught me that effective therapy is about a willingness to navigate difficult life issues with a trusted companion who possesses a genuine concern for you. My personal goal is to provide you with excellent care in a warm, safe, and supportive environment. It is also to help you through the challenges you are facing so that you are able to live a full, happy, and healthy life.
I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania with additional training in pastoral counseling. I thoroughly enjoy working with people from all walks of life…from 8 to 80.
