Lara L. Nalbandian

Whatever your reasons for coming to therapy, I believe that the relationship between the client and therapist is among the most important factors in how helpful it can be. I aim to provide a non- judgmental, supportive, sometimes challenging space where we work together to address your current concerns, gain insight into present patterns of thinking and behavior, and progress toward longer-term goals. My style is genuine and open; I use a lot of humor. I hope to build a connection with you that helps better your life and relationships now and encourages lasting change.

I am a licensed Psychologist in Pennsylvania providing individual, couples, and group psychotherapy to older adolescents and adults. My approach is relational and solution focused; in our work together, we will help you gain insight into the personal and systemic causes of your current concerns, and develop strategies, skills, and support to help you cope and to improve your overall well-being.

My specialties include depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, relationship issues, gender and sexuality, women’s issues, racial and social justice issues, and online behavior and social media use. I have experience working in public and private outpatient practices, university and college counseling centers, forensic settings, and in management and consulting psychology.
