Kathryn Lodwick-Jones (They/She)
I know that asking for help can feel intimidating and uncertain. I strive to create an environment where clients feel empowered to get support to better navigate life’s challenges with flexibility and confidence. Whether you’re navigating a sudden change, an ongoing stressor, or you’re feeling stuck, I aim to foster a compassionate and collaborative relationship where you can feel supported and encouraged.
My specializations are children, adolescents, and young adults, with various concerns including but not limited to: eating disorders, anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, life transitions, occupational stressors, and identity exploration.
I am a queer-identifying, trans-affirming, and neurodivergent-affirming Licensed Professional Counselor. I work from an evidence-based and integrative approach that is strengths-based and collaborative. I believe the therapeutic relationship is foundational to our work, so paying respect to each client’s individual needs, interests, and goals is at the forefront of our sessions.
My clinical framework draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I am also a Board-Certified Dance Movement Therapist and believe that fostering the mind-body connection is integral for a better understanding of our emotions and experiences. Increasing body awareness and strengthening the mind-body connection can provide a sense of grounding and mastery to better navigate what life may throw our way.
I look forward to supporting you (your child or your teen) on your journey and helping to uncover your most adaptive and empowered self.

ArticlesAuthor: Kathryn Lodwick-Jones Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities encompass a diverse array of cultures, languages, and traditions.
