Jill Todd, Psy.D.
You are the expert on you. You know what has worked for you and hasn’t. Therapy can help build on your expertise by offering different perspectives and ways to look at things and deal with them.
My specialties are depression, anxiety, autism, parenting children with autism, and infertility. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is an empirically supported treatment that reduces anxiety, depression, and many other symptoms. I am welcoming and transparent. I want to know how I can make you feel comfortable in therapy and how we can make the most of our time together. I encourage your feedback on what is helping and what is not. My style is collaborative, solution focused, and neurodiversity-affirming. Our first session is spent obtaining background information and identifying 2-3 goals for therapy and a tentative treatment plan. Whether you need 2 sessions or 20 sessions, together we can come up with different strategies to help you reach your goals and improve your quality of life.
I have a doctoral degree in clinical psychology from LaSalle University and am a licensed psychologist in the state of PA. I have done evaluations with children and adolescents in various school-based behavioral health programs for almost 20 years. I have worked with adults with mood disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I have also worked with adults and adolescents with intellectual disabilities and Autism in outpatient settings.
