Florencia Allegretti, LCSW
Florencia Allegretti (She/her/ella)
I view therapy as a journey to better get to know yourself and get to the root of any issues you are encountering. My role in your journey is to provide non-judgmental support, guide your self-exploration, and provide you with skills and techniques that will help you be successful in leading a more satisfying life. My approach to therapy is CBT-based, while also integrating various clinical approaches such as DBT (dialectical behavior therapy), ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), and person-centered therapy, adapted to fit your needs.
My passion for mental health has led me to providing care in many settings and due to these varied experiences, I have a variety of interests and specialties, including (but not limited to):
- Depression, bipolar disorder, and mood dysregulation
- Anxiety
- Psychosis and pre-psychosis risk
- Trauma and PTSD
- Life transitions
- Immigration and acculturation issues
- Family members of those with mental health or chronic health issues
