“When you know yourself, you are empowered. When you accept yourself, you are invincible.” Tina Lifford
This quote truly reflects my approach to counseling: healthy identity development begins in early childhood and continues throughout your life. In therapy, I partner with you to honor and strengthen your commitment to developing your core sense of self. Together, we will focus on the power of intentional decision-making in your daily life, which can help you align your short-term actions with your long-term aspirations. By being mindful of your thoughts and choices, you can create a path that supports your lifelong pursuit of happiness, fulfillment, and well-being.
I’ve seen firsthand the profound transformation that can happen when clients invest in the sometimes challenging—but incredibly rewarding—work of truly getting to know themselves. Through this therapeutic process, with a supportive, creative, and nonjudgmental therapist by your side, you will not only gain greater self-awareness but also grow in grace, forgiveness, self-compassion, and acceptance. As you build these qualities, you’ll find greater freedom to live authentically, with thoughts, feelings, and actions that align with who you truly are—and who you’re becoming.
Together, we will cultivate awareness, foster acceptance, and take intentional steps toward your personal and therapeutic goals. Your unique life experiences—whether shaped by upbringing, relationships, coping mechanisms, career or educational choices, or significant life transitions—can profoundly influence your development and outlook. In therapy, my hope is to guide you in becoming more intentional about who you are, what you tell yourself, what you do, and where you’re headed. This awareness will help you navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have the privilege of working with children, adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families, each with their own unique concerns and sociocultural identities. My goal is always to help you move toward a more optimal, fulfilling life. Outside of therapy, I’m passionate about exploring new places, watching sports, tasting cultural foods, enjoying live music and the arts, and making unforgettable memories with friends and family.
