Abby Panetta

As a therapist, I value building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship. I am committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment where you can meet your full potential, develop positive thinking patterns, and have more meaningful relationships.

Throughout our work together, I will encourage you to be an active participant in the therapeutic process.  When working with children and adolescents, I often work in collaboration with parents and caregivers to ensure goals and strategies align across all settings. I utilize a person-centered approach to build rapport and a safe space to explore your experiences. Utilizing a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and a solution-focused approach, I will help you to identify your presenting problems and core beliefs. I promote efforts towards rational ways of thinking and solution-focused steps to meet your personal goals.

I have three years of experience working with children and adolescents. I work with individuals struggling with self-regulation, behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, stress-management, and self-esteem.

I have my Master of Science in Counseling from Villanova University. I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a certified professional school counselor for grades PreK-12 in the state of Pennsylvania. I am currently under supervision to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
