Abby Panetta, NCC, LPC

Abby Panetta

As a therapist, I value building trust and a strong therapeutic relationship. I am committed to creating a supportive and nurturing environment where you can meet your full potential, develop positive thinking patterns, and have more meaningful relationships.

Throughout our work together, I will encourage you to be an active participant in the therapeutic process.  I primarily work with children , adolescents and young adults. When working with children and adolescents, I often work in collaboration with parents and caregivers to ensure goals and strategies align across all settings. I utilize a person-centered approach to build rapport and a safe space to explore your experiences, and a Cognitive Behavioral Therapeutic (CBT) approach to help you meet your goals. CBT is a widely practiced form of psychotherapy that emphasizes the intricate connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through treatment, I work collaboratively with you on identifying and modifying irrational and unhelpful ways of thinking and behaving. I offer a wide range of therapeutic services to meet the various needs of children, teenagers and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression and mood disorders, anger management, ADHD, life transitions, social skills, and stress management.
