Kathryn Lodwick-Jones (She/They)

I believe everyone can benefit from therapy, whether you’re experiencing sudden change, low self-esteem, or relationship difficulties. I empower and support my clients through the collaborative nature of our therapeutic relationship while fostering autonomy and incorporating aspects of self-regulation, mindfulness, grounding, and creativity. My approach is eclectic and strength’s based, incorporating influences from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Systems Theory.

I am also a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist, and implement aspects of movement, artistic expression, and play. Increasing body awareness and the mind-body connection can provide a sense of grounding and foster emotional awareness to help us cope with what life may unexpectedly throw our way. I strive to create a calming, affirming, and compassionate space, where clients can feel validated and comfortable to pursue healing, growth, and self-empowerment. My work with each client is approached from a relational-cultural perspective, paying respect to each client’s individual needs, interests, and goals.

My specializations include children, adolescents, and families of individuals on the Autism spectrum, as well as developmental delays, ADHD, trauma, and behavioral and emotional regulation needs. I have also worked in both acute and long-term treatment settings with adults with varying mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, addiction, and first-episode psychosis. I look forward to supporting you on your journey and helping to uncover your most grounded and empowered self.
