Whether it is sitting with painful emotions, cultivating comprehensive toolkits, increasing insight, managing our relationships, or developing a more compassionate sense of self, I will work with you each step of the way. I firmly believe any individual, when presented with a safe, warm, and caring relationship, will blossom and flourish regardless of their circumstances.
My primary purpose as a psychologist is to meet you where you are at, build a trusting relationship, and work with you as an equal. Every individual has unique circumstances and needs and I believe each person’s treatment needs to be customized accordingly. You know yourself better than anyone else, and I invite you to work collaboratively with me towards shared goals we agree upon as a team.
I utilize a variety of treatment modalities including DBT-informed interventions, acceptance-based strategies, CBT, narrative approaches, and object relations psychodynamic therapy.
