Robert Campbell

I tend to view psychotherapy as relatively similar to physical therapy. You may come in with a few minor aches and pains or maybe you’ve come in with a major injury and are unable to function. My role is to not just ease your pain, but work with you to gradually get back on your feet and on your way to becoming your best self.

Therapy can be a big step to not only healing pains in your past, but to obtain insight into yourself and how you interact with others. I hope to help you achieve that insight through a collaborative therapeutic relationship. You are the expert in your own experience! I tend to use what’s called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as various parts of other modalities such as ACT (Acceptance and Behavior Therapy) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

I have worked with various types of people, ranging from ages 18 to 70+. I also pride myself on serving minority populations, including BIPOC individuals experiencing difficulties with racial trauma over the past few years. Additionally, I have previous involvement in specialized care for people who have endured complex trauma, our brave veterans who have served the country, as well as emerging adults in a college setting (individuals ages 18-29). I work with clients who are experiencing the following concerns (including but not limited to):

  • Depression
  • Social Anxiety
  • Generalized Anxiety
  • Adjusting to life changes (loss of a job, death of a loved one, etc)
  • Stress Management
  • Men’s Issues
  • Interpersonal Difficulties
  • Trauma
  • Substance abuse
